    So I assume this is correct, HD01 is now 5 car, HD03 is 5 car nearing re-entering service as is HD07 and HD05 is next to be extended, is there any idea on when HD02, HD04 and HD06 will have their 5th car added? And will there ever be a HD08 (is that the set down at Bristol?)

    HD02 with 67022 on 1V33 is also showing as cancelled at Crewe and 1V32 routed via Chester due to 1V31 issues was cancelled at Chester (197108) and 1V35 hasnt left Manchester yet (17 overdue).....looking a very bad day for the Marches

The old way of mechanical signalling seems to work just fine in essance with not much in the way of electronics (in most cases) to go wrong. So why then do we have to upgrade to ROC's controlling...

    As a signaller on the marches (Leominster and Wooferton) im not sure to be honest....i know in the summer there are 3 UWC out of 8 (controlled by Leominster) that do get very busy plus the AHBC at leominster which is on a very busy main road...so that possibly could complicate things

    As a anmendment, there is only so many trains that can run and there will always be a maximum length a train can be.....and demand will always grow and grow and the once the railways are at full capacity (in terms of length and the amount of trains that can be run).....then there will nothing...

    You have a great point, im not sure on other towns and citys but Hereford, Abergavenny, Leomonster and Ludlow and the surronding areas (villages ect) are growing a alrming rate......even 6 would more then likely in the not too distant future not be enough

    Hi all, anybody have any ideas to what the 4M20 Bristol-Crewe Freightliner on Friday 13th and return 4V18 Saturday 14th service was for? i.e was it a trial service for a new flow or just transfering wagons? 4M20 had 18 empty normal size container wagons but not sure about 4V18

    Rolling stock which is "stored" at a station platform overnight.

    Hereford used to stable 2 of the 3 HST arrivals from Paddington one in platform 1and the other "under the Wall" (line between Barrs Court Road and platform 1) and the 3rd going straight to Bristol-since the IET's now only 1 stays in Hereford I believe snd the other goes down to Bristol

    Moreton on Lugg is now colour light signal (was resignalled back in October last year) as I understand it, The down Main set of semaphores at Bromfield are to be replaced next.....not sure when though
