Does anybody know what this is tomorrow?
I can't find any indication of this being a charter train by searching Google, but I wouldn't have thought it would be a freight starting from Paddington, with timings for 95mph. I found it here..

To be honest, it would depend on the class of pacer for me.
Class 142: Regional Railways
Class 143: Valley Lines - red, green & white
Class 144: Metro - red & cream. (Although RR did look nice on them)
If this was Friday, as I was passing through Neville Hill, I saw 67025 with a barrier, Mk3 and power car, of which was 43290.
Also, the EMT set that East Coast now has, was sat in Neville Hill, but had a power car missing I think.
So can the European Spec Light units be used over here?
Another thing, is it just me or is the grey band along the lower side of the body thinner than the one on 66152?
In my opinion, 66248 looks better in the DB livery than what 66152 does, possibly due to the thinner band...
Ahhh, thanks for the information regarding it's identity, it appears it made it to the Midland Railway...
Oh, could they not do a quick measurement to see if it was possible to get a 66 down there? The joys of an 08 :p I'm probably making it sound easier than what it is.
There used to be a postal coach at Derby, down a siding on the south end behind loads of shrubbery... Then it disappeared, anyone know what happened to it?
Is 66001 really that historically significant though? Yes, I know it was the pioneer of a class that has come to dominate the UK Railfreight scene, but to be fair, is it 66001 that should be saved? Or 59001?
In my opinion, 59001 has more significance due to being the forerunner of the...
I understand what you're saying, but the two are incomparable to be fair. D1015, is one of 7 remaining Westerns, of which all are preserved and so there is literally no chance to preserve anymore, while with 56s, there are opportunities to save more with the Fertis fleet still to be disposed of...
Sorry this isn't really a special working, but I didn't know where to put it...
Does anybody know the route of the 6E51 12:38 Peak Forest-Selby, and it's timings, and also the route and timings of it's return trip Selby-Peak Forest if there is one?
Thanks.
With the news that 58016 has been preserved and due to move to Barrow Hill shortly, and 58045 being used as spares.. and now that 58014 has now been scrapped RIP, I was wondering which 58s you would like to be preserved ?
Mine would be 58017, due to sentimental value of being the first 58 I...
Thanks Ferret :D I had a search for your route for the 4Z## Ditton-Tees Dock and found what I was looking for on http://www.c37lg.co.uk/workings.htm which says it was the 1208 York - Neville Hill worked by 37516...
I knew I wasn't hearing things :D
Right... Thanks for your help, but you're not on about the right day.. I mean on Friday at around 13.30...
I'm guessing it was an unknown working then..
Does anyone know if there were any class 37s working in the Leeds area yesterday...?
It's just I am sure I heard some thrashing about but never saw them, and the time was about 13.30.. Although I could have been hearing things...
If there was, is it possible to know what they were doing ?
Hi..
Does anyone know the timings of any freights that run on the Leeds to Micklefield and their timings/expected traction?
Thanks in advance if anyone knows.
