I applied 2 and half year ago, passed all tests and had interview just before covid which was all good, and nothing since , looking more likely it's over for me as they advertised for same depot again, such a shame really, iv sent emails but replys are few and far between

Hi all, watched this and read it ,I was on assessment 2018 and then interview 2019 all brilliant and passed for East and West Midlands, but unfortunately covid kicked in and stopped everything, but I'm interested in any one who was on the same assessments at that time if they have heard...

I passed all assessments in 2018 , then dmi in 2019, ready to start last year, covid came and now iv been told no recruitment for at least two years, so for me dream has gone, has theres not going to be any new intakes anytime soon in my eyes, hopefully I'm wrong, but very disappointing hard...

Hi all hope you well, if posted before but thought I'd post on the db trainee drivers from two years ago, we all know that covid has delayed everything massively, but just want to know if has anyone had any news regarding new training in the new year etc, any news would be great, as I passed...

I did call but nothing much to give away, just that everything on hold ie training classroom etc, I applied for mainline driver two year ago and passed my interview last September, just awaiting medical and start date, but by the looks of things everything on hold unfortunately

Anybody got information on the trainee driver situation about two year ago, I passed all assessments and interview last year, but obviously covid has had major influence in going forward, I just wanted to no if training as resumed etc cheers in advance

I'm in db talent pool also spoke to gbrf and awaiting a interview with them, plus tfw just applied , I'll relocate anywhere in UK, like I say very difficult times ahead, but fingers crossed

I think I'm the unluckiest person at the minute , I passed all assessments in September and October 2018 ,then waited a year for my dmi at saltley September 19, had the call all brilliant, just got to wait for start date, and that's it ,covid smashed all dreams, I personally have given up hope...

I had my dmi back in September last year , just waiting for medical and start date, but we are in challenging times,so could be alot longer but worth it in end

Also sorry to be a pain but does anyone no if hr numbers have changed, as tryed to contact and got answer machine , thankyou in advance

Hi all , just keeping my interest in this, as anyone yet had progress in West and East Midlands only please , it's been September 2018 since all tests and mmi passed and I done my dmi September just, I no it's a waiting progress, but just interested to no on how others are developing

Yes you a different area though, some areas are moving faster than others , congrats on start date,

I was west midlands but IV also been added to east Midlands as I live in the middle

Hi mate I think we was same assessment and I also passed everything and waited , hang in there as I was called for dmi a few weeks ago and was successful, and now in the pool waiting for medical, IV spoke to hr and they are very busy sorting up north and south before anything else

One year talent pool end of September was final mmi ,so this September I'd say that's your year and released, I'm hoping I'm wrong to be honest
