SWR First Class carriage position (Reading to Waterloo)

Thank you. At least I now understand the logic! I think I’ll cancel the season ticket from the 9th December and try and reduce my travel to London very slightly (3 days per week) and revert back to using a DSB discount on a daily basis which I know is quite a bit cheaper than the season ticket.

SWR First Class carriage position (Reading to Waterloo)

Thanks for the info. I did hear something about this but thought it was from mid 2019. Oh well! Interesting that they haven’t contacted those who have paid for First Class season tickets with what their options are??

SWR First Class carriage position (Reading to Waterloo)

Hi, Is there anyway to know whereabouts the FC carriage will be located before the train arrives at the platform mid route? It is usually on the front of the train, sometimes in the middle and sometimes towards the back. My reason for asking is that I have a disability and have paid extra for...

    Virgin Traveller Club

I'm sorry but I disagree. My employer reimburses me for my travel expenses and I'm lucky enough for that to include First or Business Class. If I am travelling on the train I have absolutely no reason to carry photo ID. If I was driving then I may carry a driving license, if I was flying I may...

    Virgin Traveller Club

Hmmm, in that case I think it is the fault of the T&C's for not detailing what ID would be considered as acceptable. For consistency's sake (and fairness). We have never previously felt the need to carry any more ID than we do. Luckily it hasn't been an issue though

    Virgin Traveller Club

Hi, another lurker here but I thought I'd post on this topic as I've been a Traveller member for 3 years. Firstly I find the Traveller membership is a great perk. We often take the kids down to London for the weekend or up to Glasgow (we are North West based). On the subject of ID, I was...
