    Night photography: help!

Not sure why the listing says you can attach lenses but you cannot attach another lens to a fixed camera lens, that's not how cameras work. Even if you did manage to attach another lens onto the fixed lens, your camera won't work properly...particularly focusing as the camera would have to focus...

    Night photography: help!

I don't understand. You say the camera lens is fixed in that you cannot take it off the camera body. But then say you can affix another lens to the current lens?? That is pretty impossible as far as I can make out.

Nikkor full frame, FX lenses advice

Be careful with grey. While there are bargains to be had things can get a bit sticky when it comes to manufacturers warranties.

Who ever told you that needs a good hard look at their life.

Nikkor full frame, FX lenses advice

I use Nikon fx. Don’t know what your budget is but the sigma 24-105 art is a nice lens. Big and heavy though with an 82mm filter size.

To get the most out of it you really need quality glass to go with it.

    DSLR or Bridge

The HS50 EXR has a listed sensor size of 1/2" (6.4 x 4.8 mm). No where near the size of full frame (36 mm × 24 mm).

    DSLR or Bridge

Exactly. Theres a reason why DSLR lenses are bulky, heavy and expensive. They are designed to gather much more light for the larger sensors and produce optimum image quality throughout its entire focal length. A digital camera that has such a large focal length or "zoom" only gets it by the...

    DSLR or Bridge

All depends on your circumstance and budget. Bridge cameras are pretty good but have short falls. DSLRs is as much about lenses as they about the bodies. Can get very expensive. Personally I am in the DSLR camp and one of my favorite shots (below) I think I would have struggled with a bridge...

    Freeloading......Or is it?.

I don't understand it. Rail enthusiasts tend to get a bad rap from the rest of society without the need for further divisions in itself.

    Freeloading......Or is it?.

You don't know that person therefore you do not know what they contribute at other times, and frankly it's none of your buisness how much they choose to donate.

How to not blur the front of trains

Yes but I bet you do not print the crappy out of focus shots do you. Processing film is all or nothing where as digital you can obviously delete at the click of a button.

Difficulty Taking Photos at Southend Victoria

Not at all. Some phones are capable of producing good images but with a tiny sensor and small lens usually just doesn't cut it. Theres are a reason why proper camera equipment can range in the high £100s to £1000s and its not just to make the photographer feel better.

    Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5

Yep. It's got tools and settings for pretty much everything. You should be able to get a 30 day full free trial if you download it from Adobe or similar.

    Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5

I use it and I'd say go for it. It's not a magic tool that guarantees you excellent results but it's very good at recovering detail if your shot isn't exposed quite right.
