0830 Sundays Shrewsbury to Aberystwyth Rail Replacement Bus

I can't find any mention of this in TfW timetables, National Rail, or sites such as realtimetrains

But it does run every Sunday without fail, with a select local clientele

Is it suppose to run, if so why isn't it publicised anywhere?

Is it not suppose to run after the May timetable change

That has nothing to do with the topic on Saturday but due to Engineering work. Historically pre COVID there has been a train in the Summer but an advertised bus in the Winter

Is the mystery Sunday service the RRB equivalent of an ECS movement to get staff to the required location?

No as it runs Out of Service from Machynlleth to Shrewsbury at 0630

I suspect that is a simple oversight.

As Philipe says it’s always been a train in the summer and a bus in the winter, but with the reduced timetable this summer even after the current engineering works, the train doesn’t appear at all.

A comms failure within TfW.
