It seems 144009 has received a new vinyl wrap livery advertising 'Great Midlands Trains - Operating on the Robin Hood Line' whilst still at the ELR, apparently used for a filming event.
Does anyone have any more info on this?

Another Pacer has a special livery for ITV's Vera programme a few years ago. Was a Sheilds Link service.

Images show a Pacer in a strange livery.

Rumours of the demise of the Pacers are misguided - it’s EMR’s answer to the shortform problems…

It is, but it's unusual for a train to be reliveried for this reason. It must be integral to the plot in some way.
The BBC has used a TWT fleetname (Trans West Trains?) with a modified Intercity livery for episodes of Casualty featuring trains. Guess it stops a real company being misrepresented in a negative way, several of the episodes have featured accidents.

Good to see that TV shows are going for a bit more realism, rather than the old way of using whatever the heritage railway being used for filming gives them... though even that is better than the hilariously bad models used for the Coronation Street tram crash!

Or the mysterious foreign (was it Australia or NZ?) trains that appear to serve the Lake District in the Peter Rabbit film, winds me up far more than it should every time we watch it!

Don't know much about the livery but I believe it is off to the Manchester Fire Service once it has completed its work at the ELR

It’s been wrapped for filming in the near future, it was supposed to be this month but has now been changed to august. It’s livery is still underneath the wrap which I’d imagine will be removed once filming has been completed. It was out on the diesel Gala and had quite a large crowd to transport including myself and the team - it would of been rude not to.
