I’ve seen a picture of 901 nearing completion today (not mine to share unfortunately!). Looking very smart. Not the first time there has been one in these colours though. Hopefully they will head back up north at a reasonable time of day so I can see the end result in person.

Very nice, what are they likely going to be used for?

Reportedly going to be traction for Balfour Beatty's drain cleaning train, which is based at Rutherglen. This has previously used a pair of redundant dynamic track stabilisers as motive power.

Photo shows a class 20 getting prepped for painting (probably 20905 as it is facing the opposite direction to 20901)

And 20901 has discs on the cab, rather than a headcode box

Looking on RTT for the latest move from Woking Up Yard, it would appear there are two Class 6 moves this evening: 6U37 (to Horsham) and 6J61 (to Leatherhead). Can anyone confirm if either one of these will be the 20s?

RTT at Woking: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/se...24-08-15/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt

Info from a contributor to se gen, 20901 & 20905 will begin with working 1705 6J09 Woking Up Yard Sidings to Bletchley CE Sidings next Thursday 22nd
