Thanks for the report, apologies for being a pedant but I am guessing the birds on the side are Swifts rather than Swallows5Z84 0848 Mossend Down Yard to Doncaster Royal Mail Terminal today saw 321334 returning on it's way back through Nuneaton on time. Looking smart with the pictures of the swallows on the side. To be honest much more attractive than the old white Abeillo Anglia livery. Also better than the Rail Operations Group. Orion livery as well. On the 768 etc. However performance was excellent and went through the station as though it was brand new.
Also for first of journey to Crewe before crewe change left around 48 late at Mossend. But was 48 early or so and sat out time at Crewe North Junction.
Performance well. Hopefully some more are on the way. Meanwhile due to the incident on the ecml and strikes the following day Wednesday 27th July
It may stay at Wembley Depot in London. Until Thursday of when it can return to Doncaster. However quite ironically two freightliner 90s to Ipswich followed it 90003 90008. So still some old Abeillo Anglia vintage around.
Of what was only recently quite common. However good to see some history repeat itself. Plus 321334 running well.
True. Are white. So must be Swifts. Thanks for the report, apologies for being a pedant but I am guessing the birds on the side are Swifts rather than Swallows![]()
They are indeed Swifts. (Which nest inside buildings, the black & white ones that nest under eaves are House MartinsTrue. Are white. So must be Swifts.
Just like the ones that nest under the eaves.
The Swift Express unit visited Kings Cross today, saw it leave northbound about 1050 then stable in Ferme Park not long after. Can't find the workings on RTT though, anyone know where it had been and was going?
