What is the standard 'ticket machine' fare for Aberdeen to Stonehaven please ?

A friend is visiting Aberdeen and intends visiting Stonehaven, hence the question.

Looking on the forum website .. advance fares would be £8.20 return, but this option has no flexibility.

When clicking on flexible fares, the same £8.20 return fare is shown. This would be a better bet, but just wondering what the official fare at a machine or ticket office would be.

Looks like £8.20 is for an Off-Peak Day Return. Are you sure you're being offered advances?

Off Peak Day Return is £8.20 (Standard class). A more restrictive Super Off Peak Day Return may also be available, priced at £6.50.
