Any decent places between Salisbury and Westbury?

Planning to see the Nmt at Templecombe tomorrow for the sake of it.

But around 2 its supposed to do Salisbury to Westbury and back.

I have concerns it might not pull alongside the station as it's booked to use 'UR' at Westbury and I don't know if that's alongside the station or if it's towards the yards down the far end...

So does anyone know any good places between Salisbury and Westbury for photos? Trainspots shows a nice bridge at Sherrington but can never know if it's been ruined by recent developments as the site is old. Thanks

Agreed with that, especially as it's on the uphill bit from Westbury so you get the bonus of the engines working hard to climb the gradient. Best spot for sure on the relevant route.

And it isn't that far by foot from Westbury station if you can't make the timings work for trains which call there
