APAC - Associação Portuguesa dos Amigos dos Caminhos de Ferro, one of the existing Portuguese railway enthusiast clubs, has just announced a five-day tour around the Iberian Peninsula, departing on June 8.
The tour, starting and ending simultaneously in Porto and Lisbon, will stop at Entroncamento, Badajoz, Ciudad Real, Valencia, Tarragona, Mora la Nova, Barcelona, Lleida, Madrid and Salamanca.
The train will be composed of Schindler and Sorefame coaches and tractioned by different Portuguese and Spanish locomotives. It'll also reintroduce the Bord Restaurant service in Portugal, something that's been absent from the country for several years.
More details and pre-registration (in Portuguese) at APAC's website.
