The access spaces under the tracks were definitely built, it was part of the work to reinstate the line at the main road bridge on Surrey Canal Road. There’s quite a lot of fenced off space visible on both sides on Google Streetview, although I can’t quite work out which side of the road is the likeliest place for the TVMs etc. Probably south side looking at your linked drawing? I suppose there won’t be a ticket office as such.

The earlier linked article reckons the housing infrastructure fund (HIF) rather than TfL.

This confirms the name of the station is Surrey Canal rather than the once-proposed New Bermondsey.

Is there any news on the additional 2tph (to Crystal Palace? which won't serve this) - and then presumably the other 2tph of that four which would head towards New Cross Gate?
