Currently in the process of applying for Train Driver and prepping by using the Group Bourdon tool when I can. I was wondering if there are apps with similar functionality out there (preferably for iOS as I have an iPhone) that I can use so I can practise on the go.

I have used Lumosity before but if there are any that are more suitable for the psychometric testing please (TRP 1 & 2 also) please let me know!

Thanks

If you get past the paper-sift and interview you will then be sent material for you to practice with a few weeks prior to your psychometric date

Maybe something like Peak? There's lot of focus and memory based games on there. Not directly relevant but I used the app and quite enjoy the games.

I only watched the short videos you can find on YouTube over and over again for the memory tests and the group bourdon you mentioned and it definately helped.

I took these tests last year, as I’m beginning a training course in September 27th.

personally, all I did was go through the paper materials a few times, although on the morning of the tests before we went into the session I completed some word games on my phone to help my concentration.

Good luck with your application.

There's a website.

Traineetraindriver.

It has material you can buy on there which are extremely accurate to the real tests.

Same with the OPC site. There are some free versions and purchasable versions on there for your psychometrics
