The fact that you can travel between West Ealing and West Ruislip by alternative means is irrelevant in terms of running the parliamentary service which aims to keep the whole route open for passenger trains, including perhaps most importantly Greenford Bay Junction to Northolt Junction which is not served by any other regular passenger services, only freight.Even if the parliament service doesn't run, aren't there still passenger services in the form of West Ealing - Greenford (GWR), and Greenford - West Ruislip (Central Line) covering the whole section exact?
