Hi,
I have a London Midland Annual Gold Card from my hometown in Herts to London, which includes Zones 1-6.

Occasionally for work I have to get a Zone 6 –> Redhill (Southern Trains) return. It's only £3 or so with my Gold Card.

I just wondered if I can buy this ticket online in advance anywhere, as the queues at Victoria ticket office are insane and I'm having to turn up over 30 mins early just to buy a ticket in person.

It doesn't seem to work on Trainline or Southern website.
Thanks for any advice.

No, you can't.

You can however buy Coulsdon South - Redhill, which is the same price. Coulsdon South is the last station in Zone 6 on that line and all London-Redhill trains pass through it. As you are combining a season ticket with a non-season ticket, the train does not need to stop.

you can also buy Boundary Zone tickets from Southern TVM's or buy from any other station if it helps.

Remember to get the Gold Card discount though!

You should be able to buy tickets to or from Boundary Zones from Southern-operated ticket machines. These can be found on London Victoria's concourse.

EDIT: I was clearly too slow with that advice... :p

Hi, thanks for the tips! I couldn't see Boundary Zones as an option on the TVMs at Victoria, but perhaps I was being a bit dim. Or perhaps I wasn't using a Southern one.
Anyway I've bought a return from Coulsdon South to Redhill online. I wasn't sure if the train had to stop there, so it's good to know it doesn't matter in this case.
Thanks again.

There should be a button on the screen somewhere that says something along the lines of "Buy tickets for another station".

Yes, and then you must type the name Boundary Zone 2 using the on-screen keyboard.

Apparently FCC machines can now do this too as they have recently had new software loaded

Just to make it clear - you should be able to buy from any ticket office so if your local station has shorter queues that may help.
