The BBC article suggests that the demolition plans have been pushed back "a few weeks", though there's no telling whether that means "exactly three weeks" or simply "as long as it takes to finish preparations and not a moment longer".

I went past this morning and a few containers had been stacked three high around it. Coming back about an hour ago a huge 'DEMOLISHED BY THOMPSON'S OF PRUDHOE' banner has been draped over the containers and a load of heavy equipment has arrived.

I reckon it's going tonight as planned.
