Caledonian Seated Sleeper seat layout

I'm booked on the Euston - Edinburgh seated coach early next week.
I have chosen seat 4a. I know the new coach stock is not in service yet.
But it seems that maybe I have chosen my seat (I wanted a single seat) from the website that uses the new stock layout. If the old stock is used I will be in the double seat near the annoying sliding door. Am I right in my observations?

IIRC the CS Mk.2 seated coaches have button operated sliding doors and make a smoother movement to open.

They are noisy and irritating if you are seated next to them though.
I’ve had confirmation from CS that I should be fine. I hope so.

You might be lucky and find it's stuck halfway like one of the lounge car doors was for a while.

Given the reliability or otherwise of the Mk2 motor-alternator sets, you may end up with one anyway.

Yep I was upgraded to a berth in the freezing climate last year.

The seats at either end in a bay are best avoided , especially if its buy as you would have someone across from you ! Single seats are the best bet but less cosy than the doubles . Hopefully its quiet.
