Hi there
I’m using the national rail website but I can’t work out how to get a list of stations called at / changes etc before actually putting the ticket in the basket . Is this me being inept or does anyone know how to make this work please ! Journey is Wimbledon to Worthing tomorrow 1447 claims it’s only one change ?!

If you are just doing journey planning, the above site may suit your needs.

If you are buying tickets, NRE won't actually sell tickets but if you book on Trainsplit (for example) you will be given links to the trains you are taking; clicking these links shows the full calling points for the trains, along with service provision etc.

If you’re surprised by the single change, remember Clapham Junction probably connects about 80-90% of SWR and SN’s combined networks. There’s only a relatively small proportion of the two route maps combined that doesn’t have direct trains through Clapham Jn.

On the NRE website itself you click on "1 change" or for the full details you click on "view details" then for each train on "show calling points."

As you will then see, you will be travelling on a London to Brighton train which is diverted via Littlehampton because of engineering works, which explains why the journey is slower than usual.

'BR Times' usually shows all the intermediate stations that a particular train calls at, if the train in question is a direct service between the two stations.
