Need to go on an IC225 soon with my bike, but was a little worried about how it will be carried.
Will it be put in a locked compartment and require me to ask someone to open it for me when I get there, like with Avanti's Pendolinos? Or can you simply carry the bike on and off easily, like on the Voyagers or on LNER's Azumas?
Thanks!

Bikes are usually stored in the DVT.

You must make a cycle reservation which you can do for free on the LNER website. Tell the platform staff you want to board with it and where you want to get off, or the train manager if it's an unmanned station.
