BBC News has just reported the death of Christine McVie, of Fleetwood Mac, but previously (as Christine Perfect) in Chicken Shack.
Sympathy to all her family, relatives and friends. She was a great singer.

Yes, definitely one of the best songwriters and vocalists of all time in my opinion.

Ah, the single version with brass. Christine's blues piano playing is more prominent on the LP version.
I must have seen Chicken Shack 3 or 4 times at the Gin Mill. A female musician was quite rare in those days. Memories ...
