009 looks like it's been accepted today and the 05:00up diagram should go Stadler from Monday. It really is happening at last.
How many diagrams will that be now? Is it 4 or 5 now? I am counting the 05;00 06:00 06:48 and 07:40 from Norwich. Any i have missed?

5 for 4 diagrams. Just awaiting confirmation that 009 is ready so the 05:00 tomorrow may or may not be a 745.

So we're 50% to the fleet for norwich to London, so maybe that won't be the catastrophe when the 90s dissappear at the end of the month. Not inconceivable that all 745 0s are accepted into traffic by end of month.
Still be short for a week or two but could the 745 1s be coming into traffic through April

The plan as of the end of January when there were two commissioned was that they'd get one more a week in service with all 10 being due by the end of March. So they should have 7 in service by now so are still behind.

That being said, things have started to move a bit quicker the last week or so and they have caught up a bit, so whilst I wouldn't necessarily expect to see all 10 in service by the end of the month, the delay shouldn't be long as it looked at the end of last month.

So based on what we know, what is the ratio of 90s to 745s likely to be in Early to Mid April?

745 010 is currently working the 13.30 off Liverpool Street and 745 007 the 14.00. The 15.00 will also be a "Catfish" - should be 745 002.

Seen a photo of their front end...?

Someone on Twitter last month posted one next to a picture of a catfish from the same angle. It went down well.

How many 745s in service today? Did 009 make the 05.00 from Norwich?

Looks like 745 009 may be coming out to play; headlights and interior lights now on and advanced to the siding exit.

Possible unit swap with 745 002???

They must have been drunk for their eyesight to be that bad. 745s are clearly designed to look like Iron Man.

Sounds like another desperate attempt at a funny nickname! Oh well, maybe next time it will be funny.

I quite liked the Modern Railways article this month about class nicknames. It mentioned GAs as

755 Short Hare
745/0 Long Hare
745/1 Ryan Hare

The latter is particularly clever.

Oh no! Please don't give Michael Leery anything for free and especially not publicity!

 Funny you say that. The catering host on my train tonight commented almost the same and says she wouldn't fly with them if all fares where a quid.
