A typical commuter-belt part of north-west England
We next move to Wales for the next journey.....

This is number 1867 in the series so far.....

The journey starts at the closed station of Porthcawl (2nd station)
It follows the line of the Duffryn, LLynvi and Porthcawl Railway...note 1st and 2nd stations
It then follows the line of the Rhondda and Swansea Bay Railway...via Duffryn Rhondda Halt
It then follows the line of the Swansea and Neath Railway...via Briton Ferry Road
It then follows the line of the Vale of Neath Railway...via Aberdylais
It then follows the line of the Taff Vale Extension Railway...via Treharris
It then follows the line of the Newport, Abergavenny & Hereford Railway...via Pontypool Road (1st station)
It then follows the line of the Coleford, Momouth, Usk and Pontypool Railway...via lascoed Halt
It then follows the line of the Wye Valley Railway...via Wyesham Halt
The journey ends at the closed station of Tidenham

The first closed station on is journey is Porthcawl (2nd station)
