Unfortunately death my friend that is incorrect. However after re-reading the quiz rules i've realised im in breach as the station in question is closed, so please disregard unless the OP and mods are happy for it to stand, if so take the above as a clue, if not then i'm sorry and I promise to pay more attention to what is written next time.

Ah don't worry about it too much. Presumably it has been answered now anyway.

Lincoln St. Marks. (Link + Köln + Saint + Marks [& Spencers])

:D

If correct try this one:

A popular 70's rock band is environmentally friendly

This has to be Slade Green.

Is it Briton Ferry?

Fellow countryman = Brit + sails away = on ferry (Briton + something which sails away = ferry)

(I'll admit I cheated on this one - got Brit and looked to see what stations began with it on National Rail)

I'm going to try and break this one down a bit...
  • Occident = Opposite of Orient = Somewhere in the West.
  • Artist protects = Sounds like a band who like to get into bed with the RIAA when they can.
Putting those two together with Oasis being the band in question, I get Liverpool Lime St!:p

Not sure I follow your logic for all of that. Needless to say, you're wrong. :)

Pollock was an artist, a shield protects and occident is the west.

The closest I can get is Tilehurst (ruined = hurt + islet) which I don't think is the answer, so a clue would be appreciated :)

Okay, substitute 'ruined' with 'over-done' in the original clue. Maybe not much to go on but if I give anymore details then I'd actually be stating part of the station name.

If it's correct, I've gotta go out now and not back till 11pm so floors open.
