Please explain.Nuneaton is the correct answer
Absolutely spot on. I honestly thought that clue wouldn't last an hour amongst you lotI would think that ‘neat’ is an old term for ox or oxen, and ‘concrete’ is an example of a noun, which, backwards, encloses ‘neat’.
FairbourneGlad others needed an explanation, I used the large station in the midlands and guessed!
Next Clue:
Neither good nor bad, carried away to here
Thank you.Correct ,.

All UK stations are allowed and Moira is correct, your turn...Assuming NIR are allowed, Moira
Blairhill? Open floor if so
PS even if not , love how you fitted two experimental locos into one clue
That makes it open floor. It was unintentional! Blairhill is correct though.
Correct, your turn...Penistone?
Margate?Thanks.
Changeable memory? I think quite the opposite.
MartonThanks.
Changeable memory? I think quite the opposite.
RomseyMemory, think computer wise.
Alternate clue: In some part of Oceania, a capital loses, in its second part, its (not first) grade in a disorderly fashion.
@DaleCooper , spot on....Romsey
Thank you.@DaleCooper , spot on....
Changeable memory = RAM, the opposite ROM and a YES (anagram of ROMSEY)
For those on the second clue: Port Moresby (second part Moresby), looses it's "second grade" ("b") and in a disorderly fashion converts "Moresby" (minus a "B") and anagrammed into Romsey.
Your floor....
That's correct, your turn...Peckham Rye?
