S Yorks, usually
Or a track machine? Also, don't forget it's only *timed for* DEMU.
Could some of the track machines be classified that way?
It was cancelled in the end "This service was cancelled throughout due to a problem with engineering equipment outside engineering works (MV)"

More interesting, later that morning was an EMU working Wolverton-Bedford:

Quite right, its only for timing not actual loco used. It could be done with an EMU and still be correct.

That's a regular move. Monday mornings sees the opposite way when units go. Been happening now for a few months and will continue until the 319s are displaced from Thameslink.
