Different restriction code on ticket to brfares

I have the return portion of an off-peak return on a CCST, from Stratford (London) to Exeter St Davids routed via Taunton. The ticket was bought after 1 April, if that matters. Validity is 7 Apr for 30 days.

On brfares, this ticket is listed with a YC restriction code which, among other things, seems to permit return travel in the peak from Paddington.

The physical ticket has an LC code which does have peak restrictions from Pad.

How have I had a ticket issued that's not listed? Is it a change in data perhaps (although I'm sure I checked brfares before purchasing) or can tickets be issued with different restriction codes applied by the retailer? Thanks.

An Off Peak Return from Taunton to Stratford has code LC, an Off Peak Return from Stratford to Taunton has code YC. I'm a bit confused which direction you're travelling as different bits of your message suggest different ways. What was the outward journey on the ticket?

When looking for a return on BRFares you look at the outward journey, and the restriction code shown there applies for both outward and return journeys.

Ah! I see. This is my mistake. I bought a return from Exeter to Stratford, and I'm now making the return, so I should be searching Exeter to Stratford to check the restriction code for the return journey.

Thanks!

Yes exactly, the restriction code is based on the outbound effectively.
