Disappearance of Northern Picc - Huddersfield Service

I see that the occasional Northern Picc - Huddersfied service has been withdrawn from the start of the new timetable. Not entirely sure why this has been done, but the route is still covered by TPE stoppers.

Looks like this means that Man Vic crews will lose knowledge of Stalybridge - Huddersfield for (I think) the first time ever.

I thought it was just transferring to TP?

The service transferred from Northern to TPE in May 2018. It had previously been a Man Vic to Huddersfield service. Northern did, however, retain a small number of peak time journeys in the mornings and early evenings operated by a handful of drivers and guards from Vic who retained knowledge of the route. It now seems that these services are being withdrawn as from the new timetable.

We will keep route knowledge as drivers as there are booked empty stock moves between Manchester and Huddersfield from next month
