Sadly someone has been hit by a train between the 2 stations. Thoughts are with all involved.

Have an advance ticket, for SWT trains only, Havant to London Terminals for a train at 1303 this afternoon. The SWR website suggests that SWR tickets can be used on Southern Services, is this correct bearing in mind the ticket says SW trains only.

Yes your ticket is valid and staff on Southern would've been informed, if they say its not valid then show them the ticket acceptance from SWRs website

With your departure time, you are over 3 hours away from hitting the affected area. Even with the inevitable knock-on disruption to services traveling on SWR is still most likely to give your quickest journey back to London.

The train that l should catch was due to leave Waterloo at 10.30am and when l looked a few minutes ago it was still at Waterloo but could be terminated short.

According to SWR site, lines now reopened and a train is now scheduled to depart Havant just before 1pm . If my scheduled train does not run will aim for the late running train.

Train has been reinstated but will be about 30 minutes late.
