When train services first started to reduce, this was looking like an opportunity to get some work done on the network. But now construction companies are (rightly) closing down non-critical activity, work is likely to be stopped on most enhancement projects. This obviously applies across the industry but on the railway it carries the extra risk of Christmas, Easter and other planned blockades being wasted, either because site work is still forbidden at the time or because essential preparatory work has been delayed. There is also the problem that the infrastructure changes are necessary for timetable changes that can't easily be postponed (and if they are it's probably for many months).

It looks like this is happening for the almost-complete Platform 5 at Stevenage. Any others?

The Crediton to Barnstaple line was shut this weekend with a few engineers trains due - all cancelled due to Covid 19

someone stated a bridge replacement was continuing but that’s yet to be confirmed unless anyone knows ?

Yet, I've experienced the opposite this last weekend. Rail replacement ran on Sunday between Nottingham, Grantham & Sleaford for engineering work that was cancelled. It also meant I lost a whole week of night shifts...
