convenient landing ground for the van, in the next few months im half expecting rail travel to plummet as there are a few people who dont seem to see the line between soapland and the ral world.
Apparantly some incident in the car causes it to go off road, travel through forest and come to a stop on the line.

Thursday, 30 September 2010
The tram-crash plotline that’s due to hit Coronation Street in time for the record-breaking soap’s 50th anniversary is reportedly set to involve the most expensive shoot in soap history.
According to press reports today, the crash has been budgeted at around £1m, while executive producer Phil Collinson has said that it will take ten weeks to film the five episodes timed to mark the 50th milestone.
Speaking to the Daily Star, he said that the show had received “a significant amount of extra money from ITV for this stunt (the crash)," but added that it was “not enough, it's never enough."
He stressed that the plot would help create “a spectacular set of episodes," saying of the time involved in the shoot:
"To give you some idea, we usually film five episodes in 12 days. But for the 50th we will be filming five episodes in 10 weeks.
“It's basically the pace of a big drama."
Collinson, who was central to the start of the show’s celebrations last week (courtesy of a huge street party), added “I can't tell you how excited I am."
The crash plot has been shrouded in secrecy so far, although it is known that it will result in the departure of several key characters to the soap cemetery in the sky.
In other news, the Corrie Facebook page has now surpassed the 500,000 followers mark.
Just watched Emmerdale now for the first time in about 8 years. All in all the train bit lasts about 3 seconds... I want an hour of my life back!
Now that would be good, an accidental tactical strike on Emmerdale, Weatherfield and Albert Square that wipes out all residents and makes the places uninhabitable for at least 1000 years.
There was that drama wasnt there, woman who plays Ruth in Spooks, a train is sealed in a tunnel and its passengers cryogenically frozen to emerge after the apocalypse. What was it called?
I remember that, was a few years back now. Can't remember what it was called though.
Some pictures of 1015 temporarily reliveried as Politanlink 1030 for Corrie filming.

It does - really shows how dated the front end is looking (Sheffield's trams built a couple of years later have aged far better)
