EMR multiple cancellations at Derby, Sunday 6 Feb.

Just stumbled on this by chance on RTT, several EMR services at Derby between 1700 and 1900 cancelled due to 'Problem with doors'

They were Sheffield, St.Pancras and Matlock services. Does anyone know what was going on? Was the wrong reason inserted?

222023 had disgraced itself just north of Belper on 1F24 with “multiple faults”. It was sat for nearly 3 hours before it managed to move again, where it returned to the depot. I believe a rescue unit was sent to move the passengers and crew to Chesterfield and Sheffield

Also noticed this just by chance. Seemed (from Traksy and what was written on EMR journey updates) that it eventually managed to get as far as Belper, where everyone got off and then boarded a rescue unit sent from Derby to complete the journey.

Looked like most EMR Sheffields around that time terminated at Derby rather than diverting; one Matlock turned back at Duffield and returned to Derby; 1 XC HST was stuck for hours in P1 unable to go anywhere and apparently ran empty to Leeds later on, with the subsequent two northbound XCs diverted via the Erewash Valley, with some additional Chesterfield calls in both directions due to EMR cancellations.

Looked like a tricky old evening.

Presumably the initial cause of the trouble which befell 222023 was a 'Problem with doors' and this reason was then repeated by RTT as the explanation for every other knock on cancellation.
