INFORMATION REGARDING ENTERPRISE

Saturday 30 March until Sunday 7 April 2024 (inclusive)
Line Closure between Belfast Lanyon Place and Portadown

• Bus substitution services will operate from Belfast Lanyon Place to Newry

• Normal train services will operate between:
- Portadown & Dublin Connolly
- Bangor & Belfast

• Return trains from Dublin will connect with bus substitution services at Newry for Belfast Lanyon Place

There will be no bus substitution service in operation for the below services (no service will operate at the following times):

Saturday 30 March to Saturday 6 April
Belfast Lanyon Place to Dublin Connolly – 0936 & 2106
Dublin Connolly to Belfast Lanyon Place – 1221 & 1820

Sunday 7 April
Belfast Lanyon Place to Dublin Connolly – 1705
Dublin Connolly to Belfast Lanyon Place – 1300

Worth noting line closure is 30 March - 02 April for Belfast - Portadown, but line will reopen to Lisburn from 03 April.

The Translink website for the Grand Central project ( https://www.translink.co.uk/bth ) lists two outages over the Easter period:

30th March - 2nd April 2024 – Railway line closure between Lanyon Place to Great Victoria Street to Portadown to facilitate engineering works by Babcock.

3rd April - 7th April 2024 – Railway line closure between Lanyon Place and to Great Victoria Street to Lisburn to facilitate engineering works by Babcock

Bus substitution is quite annoying, to be honest. If able, I would just recommend any passengers travelling from Lanyon Place to GVS to just take the Glider to College Square and walk from there rather than wait half an hour for the sub decker.

NIR are operating a Saturday service on Easter Monday and Easter Tuesday.

Lisburn to Portadown is now operating, with the resignalling complete between Lambeg and Lissue. The first services departed Lisburn this morning.
