I think a person was hit by a train in the Baglan area this morning, so 1W56 ended up cancelled Swansea to Cardiff.
They weren't hit but the line was closed. So as it happens it would have been stuck anyway.I think a person was hit by a train in the Baglan area this morning, so 1W56 ended up cancelled Swansea to Cardiff
As it stands:Evening
Can anyone help please with the which 67s and which MK4 sets will be on the Holyhead to Cardiff and Cardiff to Holyhead to Cardiff tomorrow?
Thank you
Dave
Thank you sd0733As it stands:
AM 67025+HD06
PM 67029+HD01 on the Holyheads tomorrow
HD01, 02 later, and 06.Which sets are out today?
I couldn’t say it better than Michael Scott ever did.5 sets including 2 5 cars planned out tomorrow, some on part diagrams, Many are effectively stock moves to get some in position for loco swaps/exams but certainly a start having 5 sets available.
Tues 6th-
67029+HD01
05:30 Holyhead to Cardiff
10:52 Cardiff to Manchester
14:30 Manchester to Cardiff
18:55 Cardiff to Manchester
67008+HD02
04:35 Cardiff to Manchester
08:30 Manchester to Cardiff
17:14 Cardiff to Holyhead
67015+HD03
16:49 Cardiff to Manchester
67014+HD04
06:27 Manchester to Cardiff
12:49 Cardiff to Manchester
16:30 Manchester to Cardiff
67010+HD06
11:30 Crewe to Manchester
12:30 Manchester to Cardiff
Unit sub:
04:54 Crewe to Cardiff
08:49 Cardiff to Manchester (as far as Crewe)
Wednesday is then:
67025+HD01
11:30 Crewe to Manchester
12:30 Manchester to Cardiff
16:49 Cardiff to Manchester
67008+HD02
05:30 Holyhead to Cardiff
10:52 Cardiff to Manchester
14:30 Manchester to Cardiff
18:55 Cardiff to Manchester
67015+HD03
06:27 Manchester to Cardiff
12:49 Cardiff to Manchester
16:30 Manchester to Cardiff
67010+HD06
04:35 Cardiff to Manchester
08:30 Manchester to Cardiff
17:14 Cardiff to Holyhead
Unit sub:
04:54 Crewe to Cardiff
08:49 Cardiff to Manchester (as far as Crewe)
Then 4 sets are in place to run a full 4 diagrams Thursday morning.
2 sets not out are 67029 (after tomorrow) on HD05 at Crewe on an exam and lengthening to 5 car and 67022+HD07 still at Crewe nearing the end of its exam after lengthening.
Good to see HD03 returning! Also isn't 1630 Manchester to Swansea and not Manchester to Cardiff?67015+HD03
16:49 Cardiff to Manchester
67015+HD03
06:27 Manchester to Cardiff
12:49 Cardiff to Manchester
16:30 Manchester to Cardiff
Yes it's been a while!Good to see HD03 returning! Also isn't 1630 Manchester to Swansea and not Manchester to Cardiff?
Ha! Its expected to be honest. I saw it at Canton whilst passing towards Ninian Park and now its finally returning. When I can, I will take a look. I wonder if there will ever be an opportunity to get all 7 somehow out at the same time, though the chances of that are basically impossible due to exam timings. But good to get another set backYes it's been a while!
Also yes to that, habit of writing Cardiff! It's still a Swansea
Perhaps if HD08 ever materialises then 7 sets could be possible but will rely on train crew with the right competencies in the right place.Ha! Its expected to be honest. Correct.Hi sd0733
Is is still 67029 and HD01 on the Cardiff to Holyhead tonight?
Dave
Thanks.Correct.
Can't be certain as doesn't seem to be a path out yet but looks to be a ROG 37 off a scrap move so would seem highly likely that it will be to collect 12477 for HD05 plus the ends of HD08 as barriers.https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:R00317/2024-02-07/detailed could this relate to the MK4s still at Landore?
Awesome !HD03 just seen on railcam on 1W96 to Holyhead, welcome back to service!
Checked RTT, cannot find 67015 on a digram.
Please will anyone post the workings of 67015, intending to take a trip to Stockport today

The d 0533 Holyhead, posted as 67015 in the above, RTT shows no details of traction, other than RTT, is there a website which has real-time information for 67015?67015+HD03
05:30 Holyhead to Cardiff
10:52 Cardiff to Manchester
14:30 Manchester to Cardiff
18:55 Cardiff to Manchester
Others planned for today are
67025+HD01
11:30 Crewe to Manchester
12:30 Manchester to Cardiff
16:49 Cardiff to Manchester

What makes it “official”? I’ll bet it isn’t endorsed by EMD, Alstom/Stadler, DB Cargo or Colas…There isn’t, but if you’re on Facebook “The Official Class 67 Group” posts workings on a daily basis.
