Experiences with home departure boards?

I was thinking of buying Mrs Fegg one of the little LED departure boards for Christmas as a fun way of making her commute less stressful.

There seem to be a couple of manufacturers - at least ukdepartureboards.co.uk and traindepartures.com, but there may be more. Do any forum posters have experience they can relate of any of these?
