Is anyone else watching? http://www.redbullstratos.com/live/

After the delays of midweek, he is finally on his way and as I type this, past 90,000ft. Not long to go now until he jumps from the capsule, hoping to set several records in the process.

I'm watching it. Glued to my laptop atm.
Gone well over the 120,000 ft mark now. Hope they get on with it!
Think he is a bit of a nutter though!

Nobody cares this much when I walk through Hatfield town centre at midnight. And which is more dangerous? :D

It's quite exciting although I don't know what they'll do if it all goes wrong.

He's the first person to ever travel at the speed of sound unaided by a vehicle (when it's confirmed anyway) which is amazing.

He had me worried when he started to spin, but managed to get it back under control and land as if it was just a normal skydive!

Quite simply one of the most amazing things I have ever seen.

I also got slightly worried as he started to spin, but the feed was delayed by 20 seconds anyway with someone ready to stop transmission should something go wrong.

For anyone who missed it, BBC now have the jump and freefall video. The jump is quite possibly the most surreal thing I will ever see.

When he started spinning I feared the worst but he managed to stabilise himself it would have been a shame if he'd had to deploy his chute early.

I would be surprised if he doesn't attempt an even higher jump, I don't know what the theoretical limit is.
