I've noticed this week that there is a First bus in Bradford with the old Blue and Cream livery and the city of Bradford crest on it's side.

Can anybody on here tell me why?

First have painted a number of buses in 'heritage' colour schemes, these being old corporation colours or those of companies that have disappeared. 37674 looks fantastic in Yorkshire Rider livery!

There is also now a Gemini in Huddersfield red, which will replace the Olympian that has carried it since 2008 and is now living in borrowed time.

I've seen that, First have made a good job of fusing the traditional heritage liveries together with it's modern design. Works quite nicely, I rather wish they'd roll out traditional / local schemes across the country.

Kernow could be In Western National Blue / Cream or Red / White & Blue!

They do have two heritage liveries with GWR brown and cream as well as WN Tilling green so a nod to the past
