Blackpudding-yes it would be interesting to know what happened to or where are the withdrawn single deckers (and a couple of coaches and Solos) still down on the official fleetlist as still owned by FSW. At the risk of taking up a lot of space it would be good to know the situation with 23009 23202 23303 42430 42469 42474 42476 42521 42522 42526 42725 42842 48232 48233 48234 48266 53001 53011 60814 62214 65579 and possibly 40570 40581 40588 40591.
If there is any information out there it would be good to know. Thanks.

53011 and 48234 were spares donors at Summercourt and Taunton respectively.

Wasn’t 42430 donated for preservation?

42430 is a seat store at Penzance Garage and 40570 is stored at Penzance
I have recorded 42725 unknown owner Platt Bridge so could be the same as 65579
and 48232 as Shears Northam 11/16 with 48266

I have been told that the Optare Metrodecker was on service A1 yesterday. I’m not sure if that is the first time it has worked that route if my information is correct.

23202 has been mentioned on here previously. Latterly it was at Penzance as an emergency services disaster exercise / scenario bus and was seen as such in Spring 2016. It is no longer there, was in poor condition and was probably scrapped.

23303 is parked at First Cymru's Llanelli depot in a sorry state. Scrapping in due course seems her likely fate.

I’m not sure whether this will be of any interest to anyone but former First Kernow darts 43852, 43853 and 44500 are no longer with FirstGroup. Possibly 43850 and 43851 as well.

I would say almost certainly yes. There was a decker on the A1 yesterday (Tuesday) but it was bog standard. The A17 though seemed to be worked entirely by single deckers yesterday, with just one in Coasters livery and one was a mini Dart normally on the 5. Again today I've seen no dds on the A17, this being the first time since the renumbering that this has happened in my experience. Can't remember last time I saw a dd in Coasters livery - are any still at PZ?

It was widely reported that these were returned off lease by First Cymru. Some if not all of them went to Ensign and were sold on although I cannot recall the details.

Some of the single deck Coaster buses have been operating out of Newquay and St Austell recently.

There was an ex Fal River Trident on Tinner duties this morning and a Coaster decker in Truro college duties this afternoon.

It would be good to see WK56 ABZ back in Kernow. Two of the darts are now with a company called Avondale.

I was led to believe Truronian obtained them new on 10 year leases, which transferred to First at their takeover. They’ve all been off service since 2016.

Solo 53154 on the 1645 A1 from Penzance to Lands End, adequate for the time of the year but not something I have seen for a long while.
