I was pleased to manage what became a substantial flickr album of photos and films on the electrification of the Manchester-Liverpool and Huyton-Wigan lines. That album drew together contributions from many people.
If readers would like me to start another on this line along similar lines I would be pleased to do so.

The strength and value of these rests entirely on people chipping in their twopennorth. No money changes hands in either direction at any time.
Contributions of any quality are welcome, though not 100% are used, especially when there are several of the same thing from similar angles. As many people carry smartphones with them it gives an opportunity to share images of chance observations with everyone, rather than having to post "I saw an xxxx yesterday."
