None. The reality is that people are prepared to wait for a long time to see or get a photo of a famous locomotive like this.

How do RTC expect people to book without having even an indication of the timings? It's nonsensical.

If NR really are that worried about trespassers, they'd be better off improving their fencing, which still has enough holes to allow people to get trackside.

On the other hand, perhaps they would do well to take a leaf out of most continental railways' book, whereby the only lines with fencing are high speed ones and the concept of personal responsibility applies...
Fencing is not the issue - it is usually access from foot crossings, platform ends, level crossings, bridges, etc. It is well established that 60103 attracts people who have not the slightest clue about railway rules, to a far, far greater extent than any other steam loco on the main line. It is not the true enthusiasts who are the problem, it is the families who never normally go near a raiway but who hear about the passing of the loco and believe they have free right to roam. What happens in other countries is irrelevant - our system is as it is from centuries of safety improvements (perhaps recently from a diminution of personal responsibility, perhaps not). The more trespass incidents occur, the more likely it is that steam will be banned from the main line - it's a simple and stark choice.
