No trainee train driving roles then?

Best way is to get in as an ATM, then the general rule is you would be considered for driving after 2 years, HOWEVER this is not always the case and it's been known for some people to be either put straight on the drivers courses or certainly a few months after joining dependent on if they cannot get more experienced staff through the psychometrics.

The normal route is RO > ATM > ATM(p or e) > TM (driver).

Candidates with experience (for example ex. ground staff from rival FOCs) can normally slot straight into the ATM grade.

It looks like more expansion has been announced and GBRf vacancies have expanded into different parts of the UK and grades from analysts to engineers are being advertised.

Might be worth contacting HR for those looking for a change ;)
