I don't know if I'm the first to notice this but when is an anytime not an anytime?

Put simply all anytime singles on this route are showing as valid only for the booked train and do not allow break of journey.

It appears that these tickets are valid for bookdtrainonly and break of journey not allowed in the data. Any idea why that may be?

On further inspection this appears to apply to most If not all grand central only anytime singles

Where would you intend to break your journey between Thirsk and York?
But shouldn't it be possible to break your journey on a Northallerton -> York (route "Grand Ctrl only") Anytime Single ticket.at Thirsk and then continue, later the same day, on another Grand Central service? Seemingly not?!

That's clearly up to GC
Is it? What overrides what here?

You can buy Anytime tickets at any time before you travel, and you can use your Anytime ticket to travel on any train on the route shown. You can also break your journey at stations along the route.

8.1 You may start, break and resume, or end your journey at any intermediate station along the route of travel.

It doesn't override the general terms of Anytime tickets, and I suspect that the application of the purported restriction is an error.
