55 Broadway is the (Grade 1?) building address. So St. James' Park underground station.

Correct.

The full list is :
  • Paddington
  • Kings Cross
  • Bristol Old Station, Temple Meads
  • St James's Underground Station
  • Huddersfield Railway Station
  • Temple Meads Station
  • Former Liverpool Road Railway Station, Manchester
  • St Pancras Station
  • Birmingham (Curzon Street)
  • Newcastle upon Tyne
I declare @SteveM70 the winner with three correct answers - please take the floor.

One that might appeal to the younger generation. Name the ten most-followed accounts on Twitter. Info as of 24/5/21. Clue - there are nine individuals and one commercial entity.

Amanda Holden and Piers Moron. You don’t seem to be able to get away from them anywhere on planet earth.

Neither of those, although I hope it irks Morgan massively that he’s nowhere near that popular

Kim Kardashian
The Pope
US President
The Queen
Elon Musk
Facebook
Bill Gates
Donald Trump

Kardashian is 11th, Musk is 17th. None of them are right, but two of them are in the right area for the number 1

Ronaldo
Rihanna
Ariana Grande
Taylor Swift

Blimey, 4 out of 4! They’re 5th, 4th, 8th and 6th respectively

Some good wild guesses - Bieber is 2nd and Lady Gaga is 7th

Four remaining, clues:

1st - was in politics
3rd - music
9th - comedy / TV presenting
10th - commercial entity

While we’re at it, have some bonus questions. There aren’t any British people/companies in the top ten, but there are 3 (2 individuals and one organisation) in the top 50. Who might they be?

I would have expected dear old uncle Bill/Microsoft to be there somewhere too, but apparently not

Ellen DeGeneres? (I had to look up how to spell her name.)

Spot on. Possibly her numbers inflated by having been in the news recently?

One Direction possibly and BBC News for the commercial entity ?

I’ll give you that. BBC breaking news and Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson who I believe are from One Direction

Final scores:

444045 - 4 plus 3 bonus
FrodshamJnct - 4
John Griffiths - 1
Gloster - 1

So the bonus wins it for 444045 - all yours

As England began their two test series vs New Zealand today, a cricket question :

Please name the 8 teams playing in "The Hundred" and their home grounds ?

I have to freely admit I am not a particular cricket fan although for some strange reason I look out for Hampshire's scores. Sure I read something about Southern ??? playing at the Rosebowl in Southampton, but can't remember the ??? !!!
