I’m a huge fan of Cheers and have watched it since it was first shown here. I’ve never heard him called anything other than Norm/Norman. I googled it (ruling me out) and still don’t recall hearing that name!
OscarAnyway as I actually, by luck, got the century, I will take it upon myself to set the next question.
In the sitcom Cheers what is Norm Peterson's first name?
Not Oscar.Oscar
Not Peter.Peter?
Smallpiece (apologies to anyone called Smallpiece on this forum) and it would make his initials SNP (condolences to any member of the SNP)Given the tale about his grandfather killing a man for laughing at his name think about what name might cause amusement to some.
Not correct but you are thinking along the correct lines.Marion (like John Wayne)

Your turn to Cheer us by serving a new question.
She was indeed.Despite being involved in the effects of an avalanche, she decided to continue with the climb and became the first woman mountaineer to reach the summit of Mount Everest.
And you sir give some very entertaining and amusing answers. Likewise, please keep it up!Mods and Rockers
Score 0-0 if a player fails to escape a snooker three times and they are all called as misses.Thank you - and yes, indeed, although that era does feel prehistoric to me!!
This one should be rather topical with the World Snooker Chaptionships starting on Saturday:
What is the lowest score with which someone could win a frame of snooker - and what is the lowest score their opponent could have in the same frame?
( The first part of the question is straightforward; in the event of a dispute over the opponent's prospective score I will show the calculations ).
I'll give you that... I'd forgotten that this is possible.Score 0-0 if a player fails to escape a snooker three times and they are all called as misses.
I calculate 22-7 is possible...My calculations came up with 22-20. Hopefully I didn't miss something though the players would have missed plenty.
I don't fancy doing the arithmetic on that so I'll just post the...I'll give you that... I'd forgotten that this is possible.
...but would you like to have a go at offering an actual minimum score with potting involved?
Edited to add: If anyone else jumps in with a score in the meantime, the floor is still yours as your answer is valid.
