There's a great shot from the M2 motorway in Belfast, overlooking the depot at York Road. You can see both types of DEMU, plus one of the older GM locomotives.

Not sure how to. Last time I tried to post a link from Google Streetview it went all wrong. :(

Go get the streetview image you want (in this case, the locos), then click "Link", and copy and paste the link here.

. . . . If you go just a little down the road it disappears and the weather gets a bit cloudier!
You've just reminded me of one scene on StreetView which is very dark and miserable.
If you look around Manchester's Piccadilly station, its almost night time!

You'd think that central Manchester is an important enough city to justify a repeat visit by one of the StreetCiew cars in better weather!

Or you could just scroll back a few pages to my earlier post (no. 95) :D

You can get a little bit of everything from NIR if you take the M2 north out of Belfast: York Road depot is right alongside the motorway.

NIR's rake of "Gatwicks" - mk. 2 carriages formerly used on GM111-hauled commuter services...

Head a little further north along the M2, and hiding behind the Gatwicks is a GM 111, a class 450 and a class 80 motor unit....

Turn to the right a bit, and there's a C3K set...

...and then a little further up there's an Enterprise...

Not to mention the other 450 visible further south on M2 as you cross the Lagan:

It's Aberdeen, so it doesn't really surprise me to be honest!

When I try to post the link it doesn't work but if you go to aerofoil grove, Colchester right to the end and face dead south there is an MPV far left

Click the "Link" link on the top right hand of the map, copy and paste into the post.

I've looked but can't find what you're talking about, so it might be helpful to link!

The city of dormer windows. In every possible roof.
But that concrete wall is quite spectacularly bad city planning. I don't have anything to say about horseboy, but who permitted that wall?

And what is he standing in front of? a little stone shine set into the pavement, to lament a few sadly missed weeds?
There is someting other-worldly about that place. And with 2 direct services to London a day, you'd think they'd be a bit more, well, (I'd better be careful herre 'cos of a family connection), less-different from the rest of us. Do we remember the cannibal family story some years ago - living on the cliffs nearby, alledgedly?
