GWR Night Riviera Sleeper

I'm looking to book for the sleeper PAD-PNZ for 31st March and PNZ-PAD for 3rd April. But when I look online the Sunday night sleeper doesn't seem to exist and the Wednesday night doesn't seem to have any tickets. Is the Sunday night cancelled? Does the Wednesday night say no tickets because it's fully booked? Any insight would be helpful. Thanks.

I can't imagine that it will be running on Easter Sunday night, those services don't usually run when the Monday is a bank holiday.

Agreed. I suspect the 3rd April is fully booked given it is just over a week away.

Very unusual for the seats to be full, with there being 2 coaches of them and no local traffic - single figures are a far more usual loading. Could happen with it being holiday season though.

Good point. I was thinking berths but for such a short journey a berth is not required.

Google is your friend. The Night Riviera isn’t running on 31st March due to engineering works. 3rd April - no idea. Probably full, as it’s the Easter hols.

Pretty certain that Monday being a BH has nothing to do with it - we’re booked on it Sunday 5th May and Monday 6th is also a BH.

ASLEF overtime ban starts 4th April - Sleeper tends to be cancelled from prior night as they change crews at Exeter. Showing greyed out for bookings every night until 10th April.
