HELP NEEDED: GWR CAST IRON LEGS 1934?

Hi all,
Wondering if anyone could shed any light on these cast iron legs pictured? Marking are TBS GWR 1934 1056. Would like toknow any history, what they were used for etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think they are bench seat supports! Possibly part of a staircase, holding two of the treads? Or some form of shelf support for office use?

Hi John, thanks for the reply. Much too tall for any kind of seat! Been trying to do some digging online but no luck.

my thoughts where perhaps a stairs landing perhaps going to signal box

I'd guess at platform canopy supports, bolted on top of a building.

looks like signal box lever frame support brackets to me.
