Hello, I wonder if anyone is able to help me with some French distances?

Firstly, how far is it by rail between Paris Est and Strasbourg? (By TGV if that's relevant)

Also, bit of a long shot, but can someone point me in the direction of a website or other online resources giving distances for the Strasbourg trams, or am I at the mercy of the Google maps measurement tool?

Finally, can someone confirm St Pancras to Paris Nord is 492.5km?

Paris-Strasbourg is 450km on the current route (LGV Est Phase 1 to Baudrecourt, classic line onwards).
This is likely to fall by a few km when Phase 2 of the LGV opens to Vendenheim next year.
The old line via Bar-le-Duc was 502km.
These distances from the European Rail Timetable.

I think you're right about St Pancras-Paris Nord but I haven't found accurate distances for SNCF anywhere.
Sorry can't help with Strasbourg trams.

That's very useful, thanks! :)

Don't worry. Thought it might be a long shot!

There is always Wiki to the rescue. > https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strasbourg_tramway

The old line:
Paris Est 0
Chateau-Thierry 95
Epernay 142
Chalons-sur-Marne 172
Vitry-le-Francois 205
Bar-le-Duc 254
Toul 320
Nancy 353
Luneville 386
Sarrebourg 433
Saverne 459
Strasbourg 504

I would say: Paris - Lille 220, Lille - Calais 100, tunnel 50, Dover - London 120. Yes; i would say about 490 kilometers.

For French distances I always use 'Le Reseau SNCF' by Florent Brisou
http://florent.brisou.pagesperso-orange.fr/Lignes.htm
Gives Strasbourg as PK 502,000 (from Paris)

Excellent link.
It shows LGV distances start at zero at pK 22.7 on the old line from Paris Est.
From the maps of the recent derailment it rejoins the old line near pK 491, for an LGV distance of about 412km.
So the future Paris-Strasbourg distance will be about 446km when Phase 2 opens.
