If you use the Avanti app to attempt to buy an Advance ticket, once you have selected the train and fare, I can see (via their desktop site) that the number of available tickets at that fare has been reduced by 1. This is before the payment screen.
However, unlike the desktop version, I cannot find an option in the app to say "Remove journey" if I no longer want it and want to explore other options. It seems that the only option is to wait an hour or so for the seat to return to inventory.
Am I missing something? Where is the "Remove journey" option? It seems quite incredible that the app designer would not have included that option, so I presume it's lurking somewhere and I'm just being dumb.
