I am looking to book a trip on LNER at the end of May or early June, but the tickets are not available yet.

I have set an alert. but was just wondering how often the tickets are released .. is it weekly, monthly or whatever ?

On the LNER website is says .. tickets are available up to 20th May

Usually weekly, as they will be waiting until that week's Informed Traveller offer comes in. (Informed Traveller is Network Rail's process for making amendments for engineering works for a particular week).

It tends to happen on a Friday but can happen on other days too.

It's worth looking early - many years ago I used to book weekly tickets on LNER's forebears on a Thursday morning. I don't know if it's still the same, but the tickets for different journeys appeared over some time, not all at once and the e-mail didn't go out until all journeys/tickets were loaded on the system.

It was generally Thursdays when I was doing this 2007-2010 (then I got a season ticket).
